Be it resolved that the agenda be approved as circulated.

Be it resolved that Council hereby adopts the following meeting minutes as circulated; September 21, 2021 Regular Council Meeting

Be it resolved that Council adjourns the meeting to proceed into a closed session at the hour of 1:05 PM to discuss the matter(s) under the following exemptions in the Municipal Act S. 239 (2) pertaining to: (e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board; and (f) advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

Be it resolved that the meeting be reconvened at the hour of 1:23 PM.

Be it resolved that Legal Counsel proceed as discussed.

Be it resolved that Council hereby receive report number F2021-11 “Feasibility and Cost of Relaunching Erin Chamber of Commerce” for information; And that the Town sponsor a relaunch of the Chamber of Commerce to serve the entire community and allocate a maximum of $5,000 towards the launch and associated efforts to be funded from the Economic Development Reserve 30-7000-2540.

Be it resolved that Council hereby receive report number C2021-05 “Civil Marriage Solemnization” for information; And that Council authorize Lisa Campion, the Clerk of the Town of Erin, to solemnize marriages by passing the proposed By-law attached as Appendix A; And that Council hereby repeal By-law 13-29.

Be it resolved that Council hereby receive report number C2021-07 “2022 Acting Mayor Schedule” for information; And that Council hereby approve the 2022 Acting Mayor Schedule attached as Appendix A to this report; And that the Clerk have the authority to change the Acting Mayor Schedule should a Councillor become unavailable.

Be it resolved that Council hereby receive report number W2021-01 “AMO-LAS Water & Sewer Warranty Program” for information; And that Council authorizes the CAO sign an agreement between Service Line Warranties of Canada, Inc. and the Town of Erin.

Be it resolved that Council hereby approve the following committee meeting minutes: • Parks, Recreation and Culture Committee Meeting Minutes- November 19, 2020, January 21, 2021 and July 15, 2021

Be it resolved that Council hereby direct staff to prepare a report and by- law with respect to the establishment of the Erin Village BIA for Council consideration.

Be it resolved that Council hereby change the October 19th Regular Council Meeting time from 6:30PM to 3:00PM.

Be it resolved that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Erin having given due consideration to the following By-law 21-43 as reproduced in this days Council agenda be passed and authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign and seal same. 21-43 A By-law to adopt, ratify and confirm the proceedings for the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Erin at its Regular Council Meeting held on October 5, 2021.
